‘The AI suggested the clause’ does not explain who adopted it in the final PDF.

A negotiation history shows a paragraph that matches the model’s draft, pasted unedited into the contract PDF. Someone chose to keep it. Someone signed or circulated it. Machine suggestion is a provenance detail. Adoption is a human act — who inserted it, who approved it, who represented it as the party’s position. Blaming the tool does not erase the trail of who put the words into the final instrument.

Who adopted it still has a name.
